Within the framework of this project, and under the overall authority of the Director of the Office for Iraq and the direct supervision of the Programme Coordinator and UN Liaison Officer, the incumbent shall coordinate and implement all aspects of the project. Long Description ---------------- This includes, but not limited to, the following functions: **1.** Liaise with national and international stakeholders in the implementation of the Communication and Information (CI) project's activities including: - Maintaining regular contact, coordination and programme reviews with relevant ministries and governmental departments, other UN agencies, non-governmental organizations and other stakeholders to obtain maximum benefit and efficient use of resources in the implementation of project activities. - Monitoring all issues related to freedom of expression and the protection of journalists in Iraq and provide regular updates to the supervisor, director and the CI sector, and - Representing UNESCO in relevant meetings and coordination groups. **2**.
