Organizational Setting and Reporting Relationship
The position of Associate IT Officer (Information Security) is assigned to the Cybersecurity and Compliance Unit (ITOD-CS) within the Information Technology Department (ITD). ITD manages the information systems and technology services required for ADB's Headquarters and Field Offices. ITOD-CS sets the Information Security standards, policies, incident management, and Business Continuity approaches for Technology within ADB. The team also monitors compliance with the standards and policies within ITD. You will be based at our Headquarters in Manila, Philippines.
You will report to the designated International Staff and senior National Staff.
Your Role
As Associate IT Officer (Information Security), you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of identity-related processes in transitioning the operation of the Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) solution from managed services to in-house, and to support the migration of the existing application to a new cloud solution. You will support the unit by coordinating cross-functional activities in the maintenance and administration of the IGA tool and access control policy enforcement. You will also be responsible for providing operational and analytical support to production incidents and user stories, coordinating schedules and requirements, and monitoring activities and deliverables.

Additional Information
ADB will be rolling-out a new job grading structure on 1 January 2025, which may result in a change of the position grade and title with no change in the terms of reference. By proceeding with your application, you acknowledge and accept the possibility of such changes resulting from the new job grading structure.
This position is funded by a temporary funding source (e.g., a trust fund, financing facility, or capital expenditure budget) and therefore, the renewal of the appointment and its duration are subject to the availability of the funding source.
This is a fixed term appointment with option to renew for an initial period of three (3) years following Section 3.1 (b) of Administrative Order No. 2.01 ("Recruitment and Appointment'). This appointment is not convertible to a regular appointment. At the end of the initial period, this appointment may be renewed for a period of up to three years, or not renewed. There is no limit on the number of renewals. This appointment is open to internal and external applicants.
