Organizational Setting and Reporting Relationship

The position of Associate IT Officer (Information Security) is assigned to the Cybersecurity and Compliance Unit (ITOD-CS) within the Information Technology Department (ITD). ITD manages the information systems and technology services required for ADB’s Headquarters and Field Offices. ITOD-CS sets the Information Security standards, policies, incident management, and Business Continuity approaches for Technology within ADB. The team also monitors compliance with the standards and policies within ITD. You will be based at our Headquarters in Manila, Philippines.

You will report to the designated International Staff and senior National Staff.

Your Role As Associate IT Officer (Information Security), you will serve as a focal point for unit work planning and reporting requirements, ensuring that ITOD-CS priorities align with ITD and ADB’s planning directions. You will support the unit by coordinating cross-functional activities and special projects that improve organizational effectiveness, cohesion, teamwork, and well-being. You will also be responsible for providing operational and analytical support to the planning, sourcing, and delivery of ITOD-CS’ activities and initiatives, including preparing relevant project-related documents, coordinating schedules and requirements, and monitoring activities and deliverables.

You will:

o budget and ensuring it is used effectively and efficiently following ADB’s policies.

o work plan and ensures it is timely prepared, submitted and monitored.
