Overview
Support the Ministry of Health in strengthening health financing during a transition period.
You have:
- At least 3–7 years of work experience in health financing, health systems strengthening, health policy and reform, preferably in low- or middle-income countries.
- Master’s degree (or higher) in Public Health, Health Policy, Public Administration, Health Financing, Project Management or a related field.
- Strong understanding of health financing structures or supporting health initiatives in sub-Saharan Africa and/or Cameroon.
- Experience working directly with ministries of health, and ministries of finance.
- Good communication skills in both English and French.
- Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional communication skills, including the ability to translate complex financial concepts into clear, actionable recommendations.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
- Prior experience working with donor-funded projects (e.g., Global Fund, Gavi, USAID, World Bank) is an asset.
- Proven track record of conducting economic evaluations, financial gap analyses, or resource optimization strategies is an advantage.
