Associate Financial Officer - Cash Management

Description

The Treasury Market Operations department is responsible for funding the balance sheet, cash and liquidity management and liquid assets investments.

The Cash Management team manages the corporations daily operational cash flows, performs liquidity planning tasks, and manages short-term investments and local currency investments.

The Funding team manages IFC’s Global medium-term note borrowing program, thematic borrowing programs and investor relations.

The Liquid Assets Management team invests liquid assets portfolios of the Corporation.

Duties and Accountabilities:

This selected staff will be responsible for Cash team’s activities focused on cash planning, liquidity planning, banking relationships, trading FX and other products.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Take primary responsibility with respect to daily cash planning activities in EUR • Take primary responsibilities for cash management in selected Western European and African countries • Manage FX trading in EUR and other selected currencies to support IFC treasury operations • Manage selected investments in money market products such as deposits, CD, CP and ABCP • Work alongside other Treasury colleagues providing cash planning and funding support • Assist with other team priorities as needed from time to time

Selection Criteria

• Masters degree in Finance, Management or a related discipline • 3 plus years’ experience in a related area such fixed income, trading, bank treasury, • Knowledge of fixed income products and markets • Prior experience trading money market products and/or FX is a plus • Excellent analytical, oral and written communication skills
