Result of Service
The Associate Digital Marketing Consultant will be responsible for developing and implementing the digital marketing strategies with the objectives of growing and retaining individual donors at a global level. The incumbent works closely with the Private Partnerships team and other stakeholders to understand their needs and develop effective digital marketing plans. To be successful in this role, the incumbent should possess a variety of competencies, including strong analytical and problem-solving skills, proficiency in managing digital channels, technical skills in digital marketing metrics, and knowledge of the global fundraising landscape and trends. The incumbent plays a critical role in driving the success of UNRWA’s digital fundraising activities.

Duties and Responsibilities
Working under the guidance of the Chief Private Sector Partnerships Division in the Private Sector Partnerships Division, the Associate Digital Marketing Consultant will be performing the following tasks:
-Develop and execute all web, SEO/SEM, performance media campaigns across digital channels, including but not limited to display, search, social media, email, and video stream
-Track, analyze, and report on cross-platform performance, using Google Analytics, and use insights to optimize and improve campaign performance and ROI
-Create media plans for digital marketing activities
-Execute strategies for launching and testing new digital channels that align with UNRWA’s fundraising strategy
-Create and manage partnerships with digital partners and key stakeholders, influencers, and vendors to maximize exposure and reach
-Create engaging visual and written content for various channels
-Identify key influencers and manage influencer marketing campaigns to meet fundraising objectives
-Collaborate with key content contributors and cross-functional teams to help define content goals and to produce high-quality content for digital channels that engages donors globally Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends and best practices and make recommendations for improvements
-Undertake other duties and special projects to support the Private Partnerships team
-Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications/special skills
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Advance university degree from an accredited educational institute, preferably in marketing, business administration, communications, social sciences, international relations, or a related discipline.
-At least 03 years of relevant work experience, including a minimum of two continuous years of relevant international experience outside UNRWA, and outside the country(s) of which the candidate is a national or holds citizenship, a passport or a national identity number.
-Experience in tracking and analyzing performance data in Google Analytics
-Experience in managing digital marketing campaigns.
-Strong knowledge of marketing funnels
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS
-Data-driven decision-making using analytics and research.
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills
-Compelling storytelling and copywriting skills
-Knowledge of fundraising and donor relations
-Knowledge of Islamic Giving strategies is a plus
-Knowledge of the UN system is desirable
-Proficiency in managing digital channels
-Technical skills in digital marketing metrics, and knowledge of the global fundraising landscape and trends

Additional Information
-Expected start date of as soon as possible.
-This consultancy is equivalent to P2 level- rate is $228/day.
-This consultancy will take place remotely with a possibility to be based in HQ Amman.
