Overview
Support dengue control activities and strengthen health strategies in Lao PDR
You have:
- Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 2 years of work experience with increasing levels of responsibility
- Experience in program management, planning, and strategy development, preferably in the health sector
- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical capabilities
- Excellent communication skills, with strong spoken and written English and skill in creating high-quality presentations and written reports
- Ability to think strategically, anticipate emerging issues, and make decisions with conviction even in an environment with limited structure and high ambiguity
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships in a multicultural environment, especially with governments and multilateral organizations
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Technical expertise in dengue transmission dynamics and interventions, including Wolbachia-based approaches
- Experience working with government institutions, contributing to the development of government strategy & policy
- Knowledge of Lao PDR’s health system
- Experience working in a developing country context and with government agencies
