Organizational Setting and Reporting Relationship
While the position of Associate Climate Change Officer resides with the Climate Change, Resilience and Environment Cluster (CCRE) within the Climate Change and Sustainable Development Department (CCSD), you will be strategically assigned to the office of the Director General (SAOD) within the South Asia Department (SARD) based at our Headquarters in Manila, Philippines.
You will report to designated international staff and will work closely with climate change staff in CCRE and staff of SARD as well as other relevant departments.
Your Role
As an Associate Climate Change Officer, you will provide technical and operational support to the development, implementation and coordination of ADB’s climate change agenda, working with regional and core team members on upstream analysis, country partnership strategies development and annual country programming, coordinating the activities and outputs of CCRE-CC, compiling and analyzing thematic and sectors information, supporting sectors teams with project design and implementation, and monitoring progress of ongoing thematic and sector work related to climate change.

Additional Information
ADB will be rolling-out a new job grading structure on 1 January 2025, which may result in a change of the position grade and title with no change in the terms of reference.
