OBJECTIVES OF THE PROGRAMME

L'objectif du poste est d'assurer, en temps voulu, la production et la diffusion d'informations publiques de haute qualite sur des questions de sante publique anciennes et emergentes, par le biais de diverses plates-formes (presse ecrite, Web, diffusion, medias sociaux, etc.); Definir et promouvoir une identite d'entreprise coherente pour l'OMS aux niveaux interneet externe; Creer une «culture de la communication» du 21me siecle a l'OMS en renforcant les capacites au niveau des pays; Contribuer a la gestion de la reputation de l'OMS en surveillant l'opinion et les preoccupations du public et en y apportant une reponse strategique; et diriger la strategie de communication strategique en atteignant les objectifs du triple milliard del'OMS, y compris les progres en matiere de couverture sanitaire universelle et de reponse aux urgences de sante publique..

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES

Soutenir la planification et la mise en œuvre des activites decommunication et de plaidoyer du plan d'action de l'OMS Guinee EquatorialeCartographier les produitsd'information pour divers publics etcoordonner la production et ladiffusion regulieres des bulletins et des rapports de situation ; Assurer une diffusion efficacedu materiel de communication par lebiais de divers canaux, y compris lapresse, la toile, les medias sociaux, l'audiovisuel, les conferences etreunions, les reunions d'information et d'autres plateformes ;Soutenir l'organisation desevenements permettant d'assurer lavisibilite, y compris des conferencesde presse, des visites sur le terrain, des formations ; etablir et maintenirdes relations regulieres avec les representants des medias et maintenir unebase de donnees de ces contacts ; Assurer une veille mediatique hebdomadaire en assurant uneselection d'articles lies a la sante et les partageant avec les responsables de programme ;Assurer la mise en page et le design des supports de communication : bulletins, rapports de situations, flyers, depliants, etcRediger les communiques de presse, contacter les journalistes,preparer les interviews, organiser des evenements.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education

Essential: un diplome de fin d'etudes secondaires ou une formation technique en journalism ou dans une discipline apparentee. Desirable: Qualification formelle en sante publique et cours en techniques de communication telles quele graphisme, le langage visuel et l'utilisation des medias sociaux.

Experience

Essential: Au moins huit (08) annees d'experience connexe dans la communication et / ou le plaidoyer, dont une partie dans le soutien aux activites d'urgence humanitaire ou d'intervention en cas d'epidemie. Experience confirmee dans la redaction de documents de plaidoyer et dans la production de supports de communication. Desirable: Experience de travail avec le systeme des Nations Unies ou avec uneorganisation non gouvernementale internationaleExperience dans l'organisation de campagnes de plaidoyer.Experience dans la gestiondes processus de publication.

Skills

Competences confirmees dans le developpement et la mise en œuvre de produits et de tactiques de communication / media.• Excellentes competences interpersonnelles completees parla capacite de conceptualiser des idees et de preconiser un consensus.• Excellentes competences de presentation• Aptitude a "sortir des sentiers battus" et afaire des propositions innovantes en matiere de communication.• Connaissance oucomprehension du mandat et des objectifs de l'OMS dans le contexte de lagestion des incidents d' urgence.

REMUNERATION

WHO offers staff in the General Services category an attractive remuneration package, which for the above position includes an annual net base salary starting at XAF 21,654,042 (subject to mandatory deductions for pension contributions and health insurance, as applicable) and 30 days of annual leave.
