UNDP is looking for an Online Volunteer to support Senior Researcher in data analysis to identify and consolidate thematic best practices, good examples and lessons learnt from National Human Rights Institutes (NHRI) functions in responding to COVID-19. The volunteer will support the Researcher in analyzing and translating quantitative and qualitative data from an online survey in French and Arabic.

    UNDP's Global Programme on Strengthening the Rule of Law and Human Rights for Sustaining Peace and Fostering Development supports the Tri-Partite Partnership (TPP) to support National Human Rights Institutions. The TPP is enjoyed by the Global Alliance for National Human Rights Institions (GANHRI), OHCHR and UNDP. During a recent TPP 2020 meeting, a need was identified to develop a knowledge product to highlight the important role of NHRIs in COVID-19 response and their capacity needs. The volunteer will contribute to this by supporting UNDP's Senior Researcher to analyse data to develop the final knowledge product.

  • Volunteers: 1 needed

  • 1-5 hours per week / 4 weeks

    The volunteer should be fluent in English. Good knowledge of French and/or Arabic is needed. Experience in qualitative and quantitative data analysis and ability to synthesize information into easy to understand findings are preferential. Knowledge of human rights is considered an asset.
