- Experience in technical support for humanitarian services in housing and infrastructure.
- Knowledge of shelter and settlement strategies and their implementation.
- Ability to engage with and facilitate the participation of affected populations in the implementation of projects.
- Capacity to adhere to accountability mechanisms in humanitarian settings.

El propósito del cargo de Asistente Técnico Alojamiento e Infraestructura es contribuir a la implementación de servicios humanitarios de Alojamiento e Infraestructura en el área Occidente de acuerdo a la estrategia programática de NRC.
De manera más específica, el propósito del cargo de Asistente Técnico Alojamiento e Infraestructura (AeI) es apoyar las actividades técnicas de los proyectos que tienen como propósito que las personas afectadas tengan acceso a soluciones adecuadas de alojamiento temporal, transicional y permanente, instalaciones educacionales de carácter temporal, transicional/permanente, y diversas soluciones de infraestructura comunitaria temporales, transicionales/permanentes, para mejorar sus condiciones de seguridad, protección, salud y dignidad, evitando acciones con daño, facilitando un acceso integral e inclusivo a las ayudas humanitarias de la mano de los mecanismos de rendición de cuentas y la promoción de la participación activa de la población afectada. Estas soluciones responden al marco estratégico de la Competencia Básica (CB) y sus Teorías del Cambio (ToC), las estrategias del Área, Operación País, Estrategia Global del Sector de Alojamiento e Infraestructura o también llamado Alojamiento y Asentamiento (Shelter and Settlement) y Estrategia Global de NRC.
