We are looking for TWO (2) creative and motivated online volunteers to support our team with creating illustrations to be used in a study on urban biodiversity. The online volunteers will be asked to: (1) Create a maximum of EIGHT (8) A5-sized illustrations to support an ethnography document which already consists of approximately 30 pages of text and photos, and (2) curate and clean up a maximum of EIGHT (8) A4-sized community maps. All online volunteer contributions will be credited.

  UNDP Malaysia’s Urban Biodiversity Frontier Challenge aims to identify and map the biodiversity and ecosystems in our cities, as well as deepen our understanding of community norms and values (attitudes, perceptions and actions) towards urban biodiversity. Online Volunteers will support the project’s ethnography and community mapping components. All online volunteer contributions will be credited.

• 11-20 hours per week / 4 weeks

  Candidates should have previous experience in making digital illustrations and have in-depth knowledge of graphic design applications. A degree in graphic design or related field is considered an asset. Experience with creative cartography is a strong asset. Please include portfolio in application.
