RESPONSIBILITIES:

· The Anti-Trafficking Intern supports staff in all program aspects including:

o client services

o partnership engagement

o community assessment regarding the needs of Survivors in the Richmond region.

· There will also be a current focus on implementing a series of focus group discussions with survivors and community stakeholders that the intern will likely be able to participate in and/or lead.

Qualifications - Be sensitive to the cultural and personality differences of the refugee clients. - Respect their beliefs and values, which may differ from yours.

· Strong interpersonal skills and interest in working with the refugee community

· Ownership of a car, a valid driver’s license, and car insurance

· Willingness to transport clients in your personal vehicle

· Willingness to be flexible and accommodating to client needs

This position is unpaid and reports to the Family Wellbeing Supervisor.
