Job Description

Job Overview: The Anti-Trafficking Program Coordinator implements program(s) that provide individualized support and assistance to survivors of trafficking, utilizing a range of financial, medical, social, vocational, and other services and resources based on client eligibility. They coordinate closely with community partners to increase awareness, identify potential victims, provide technical assistance, and coordinate high quality, effective service delivery. They ensure program compliance and quality assurance, providing training, support, and in some cases formal supervision, to others.

Major Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Client Service

· Provide individualized orientation, support, referral, and advocacy services by assessing and evaluating client’s distinct needs.

· Work alongside clients to develop reasonable self-sufficiency plans and timelines for each client, managing client expectation during the service period.

· Ensure that clients are provided the tools they need to meet their established goals and objectives.

· Provide intake, assessment, and pre-employment/job readiness orientation to clients eligible for employment services.

· Respond to emergency calls in a timely and effective manner.

· Assess and monitor client progress to support the achievement of goals, to ensure designated resources are being maximized, and modify initial plans as required.

· Participate in relevant partner meetings and engage various stakeholders to identify community resources.

Partner Coordination

· Responsible for the successful implementation of the goals of the International Rescue Committee’s (IRC) Human Trafficking grant including ensuring IRC and all partners under the grant achieve the highest level of service and outreach to the region.

· Actively serve as the primary point of contact for assigned programs and partnerships with funders, police departments and social services agencies, professional organizations, and other project partners.

· Represent the vision, mission and goals of IRC’s anti-trafficking programming and educate a wide range of public and private partners in order to increase awareness and identification of victims of trafficking.

· Actively participate in relevant meetings and provide leadership to achieve the goals of the grant within local coalitions, task forces, and other key local and federal agencies addressing human trafficking in Florida.

· Coordinate closely with IRC colleagues to achieve organizational and programmatic goals.

· Track relevant legislative activities and actively participate in public outreach and advocacy to local, state, and federal legislators to support the passage of legislation that appropriately addresses trafficking and supports clients.

· Coordinate and collaborative with relevant partners involved in the evaluation of the program.

Program Management

· May manage a team of staff in accordance with IRC’s People Manager Standards.

· Track clients through the program utilizing data systems to ensure all services are provided in a timely manner and properly documented. Satisfy case file management and reporting requirements. Complete reports in a timely fashion.

· Adhere to all IRC policies and protocols.

· Other related duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree required; preferably in social work, international relations, or other relevant field.

· Minimum 2-3 years of related professional experience.

· Prior supervisory experience a plus.

· Strong relationship building, diplomacy, and networking skills; ability to effectively build internal and external relationships.

· Demonstrated success working and communicating effectively in a multi-cultural environment.

· Self-starter with excellent problem-solving skills combined with the proven ability to prioritize and manage time effectively.

· Attention to detail and accuracy in work product.

· Fluent in English, both spoken and written; proficiency in language(s) spoken by client group is desired.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook); ability to use the internet and other digital tools for data entry, research, and problem-solving purposes.

· Valid driver’s license and access to a personal, insured vehicle.

Working Environment:

· A combination of standard office environment, remote work, and ‘field’ time within the service delivery area to perform the above outlined responsibilities.

· This position requires weekend and/or evening work.
