Create and develop engaging animations for e-learning courses.

You have:

  • A minimum of five years of progressively responsible experience in developing animations and graphics for online training courses using After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop, Flash, and Premier and 3D software - Autodesk Maya and Autodesk 3Ds Max.
  • Very Good knowledge of Adobe After Effects, Photoshop.
  • Skills: Adobe Animate CC, Illustration/sketching, Character Design and Animation.
  • A first-level university degree/diploma in any stream.
  • Good command of English is required.

Expected duration The initial Contract is from 01 January 2022 – 31 December 2022 (12 months) with a possibility of extension.

Duties and Responsibilities The UN’s Office of Information and Communications Technology (OICT) defines the strategic direction for Information and Communications Technology (ICT) to the UN Secretariat. It oversees ICT programs, budgets, and decision-making to align with the Secretariat’s overall ICT strategy. The Strategic Solutions unit in India is supporting various ICT development initiatives for its HQ at Vienna, Austria. In this unit, we are looking for a passionate Animation Expert and he/she will be responsible for the creation of animations for various production outputs. The Animation Developer will work with a team of highly motivated eLearning professionals and bridge the gap between Instructional Designing team and Course Authoring team, taking an active role on both sides and defining how the final product looks as well as how it impacts. Within delegated authority, and in close cooperation with the Software Production Coordinator, the Animation Expert will be responsible for the Duties and Responsibilities mentioned below: o Visualise and create engaging and interactive 2D/3D animations for e-learning courses to be used on multiple devices; o Brainstorm and conceptualise ideas, with the ability to produce quick concept edits and pre-visualisation video edits; o Design and create an overall look and feel for motion graphics projects; o Collaborate with the design team to come up with unique and engaging creative experiences; o Discuss ideas for images, graphics and animations with team members before applying them in the development; o Training and scaling up of associate graphic Developers and animators; o Develop highly visual and interactive learning content based upon storyboards; o Communicate effectively with the development team; o Maintain project documentation and course folders during the project lifecycle.; o Ensures assets/data security and integrity; o Perform other duties as assigned.
