The World Economic Forum, committed to improving the state of the world, is the international organization for public-private cooperation.

The Forum engages the foremost political, business and other leaders of society to shape global, regional and industry agendas.

Why we are recruiting

GAEA, the Global Accelerator for Earth Action, is the World Economic Forum’s platform for unlocking Catalytic Leadership for the prosperity of people and planet. It connects catalytic actors (philanthropists, foundations, select family offices and impact-focused investors) with Forum initiatives and multistakeholder communities to overcome systemic barriers and help scale climate and nature solutions. Its next phase focuses on three things: building and stewarding the Catalysts Community, guiding the Community to high-leverage intervention points, and surface, capture and amplify what works. Together with the newly approved institutional pathway for philanthropy to engage with the Forum, this portfolio has entered a new phase of interest and opportunity.

As GAEA moves into its next phase, we are recruiting an Analyst for three months to provide surge support through the delivery of the Annual Meeting 2027. The Analyst will provide hands-on research, coordination and operational support across GAEA’s Catalysts community, intelligence and insights, and Big Bets work. The priorities are strengthening the Catalyst database and tools, supporting day-to-day Catalyst engagement, and helping deliver GAEA’s programme at the Annual Meeting. The role offers an immersive introduction to global philanthropy, cross-institutional collaboration, and multistakeholder engagement, while providing close supervision, structured learning, and exposure to the Forum’s mission-driven work.
