We are looking for an Online Volunteer who will analyse the User Experience (UX) of UNITAR’s Learning Management System (LMS) Moodle and Event Management System (EMS) and who will provide recommendations on how to enhance UX. This includes: planning, conducting and analysing research on multiple aspects of the users experience (including user research and usability testing sessions), proposing ways to optimize the conceptual and visual design of interfaces based on findings from research and usability testing, and presenting the findings and proposals in a written report (English).

UNITAR is offering a wide range of online and face-to-face courses. Courses are published on the organization’s EMS site (https://www.unitar.org/event/) where the users (course participants) – via their personal account – register for courses. Course participants complete the courses on a second platform, the LMS Moodle (https://learnatunitar.org/login/index.php). UNITAR is currently exploring ways to enhance the course participants’ experience and usability of both the EMS and the LMS. Our goal is making it easier for course participants to search and register for courses on the EMS, and to access and complete their courses on the LMS. For both systems, we are exploring options for improving the user interface to ease navigation.
