You have:

You will work closely with respective teams at the World Economic Forum Beijing Office to support the preparations for the Annual Meeting of the New Champions (AMNC).

1 April – Early July; 4-5 days/week onsite at the Beijing office

The Internship role is for candidates currently pursuing a college or university degree (undergraduate or postgraduate) and is usually undertaken during the penultimate year of study. While your major is not important, we are looking for candidates with an outstanding record of academic achievement, a can-do attitude and a desire to make an impact.

The intern will join the office for a three-month period during spring of 2025. You will work four to five days a week and receive a RMB 7500 monthly stipend if working on full- time.
Team Introduction
The Programme and Event team in Beijing office is responsible for designing and developing content to shape global and regional agenda, and organizing high-level, multistakeholder meetings, such as the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting and Annual Meeting of the New Champions, which convenes global leaders to address the most relevant and pressing challenges.
The translation team is responsible for the Chinese production of event engagement materials for the Annual Meeting of the New Champions, alongside other responsibilities such as translation management and content development.
Main Responsibilities
- Support English-to-Chinese translation of key event communication materials for the Annual Meeting of the New Champions according to the translation plan
- Support the translation and layout process of the Chinese programme for the Annual Meeting of the New Champions
- Manage the translation of speakers’ info and data input
- Help with urgent translation requests related to the Annual Meeting of the New Champions
