AMNC25 - Intern, Partner Development
The World Economic Forum, committed to improving the state of the world, is the International Organization for Public-Private Cooperation. The Forum engages the foremost political, business and other leaders of society to shape global, regional and industry agendas.
You will work closely with respective teams at the World Economic Forum Beijing Office to support the preparations for the Annual Meeting of the New Champions (AMNC).

The Internship role is for candidates currently pursuing a college or university degree (undergraduate or postgraduate) and is usually undertaken during the penultimate year of study. While your major is not important, we are looking for candidates with an outstanding record of academic achievement, a can-do attitude and a desire to make an impact.

The intern will join the office for a three-month period during spring of 2025. You will work four to five days a week and receive a RMB 7500 monthly stipend if working on full- time.
Team Introduction
China Business Engagement Group develops and maintains business members and partners headquartered in Greater China and ensures their successful engagement in Forum initiatives, projects and events across industry.
Partner Lead team is responsible for developing partner engagement strategy, building and developing Executive relationships and leveraging industry/regional expertise. This internship position is dedicated to supporting the Partner Lead team for 2025 AMNC.
Main Responsibilities
- Compile bilateral meeting minutes, track follow-up actions, and prepare meeting packages (e.g., background materials, agendas, and participant lists) to ensure seamless execution of partnership initiatives.
- Assist in TFE speaker outreach, rehearsal logistics, and participant coordination for AMNC.
- Assist in managing potential partner requests, internal reporting, and agenda-building to enhance potential partner satisfaction and engagement.
- Curate industry research materials and create concise value proposition guides to support partner engagement strategies.
- Proofread, format, and refine promotional content for online and offline communications, ensuring alignment with Forum standards.
- Maintain and update partner data in Salesforce, supporting ad-hoc tasks.
- Support scheduling and logistics, ensuring smooth operations and timely execution.
- Work closely with the Partner Lead team to deliver high-quality outputs and contribute to the success of AMNC 2025.
Preferred Requirements and Experience
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in economics, management, industry relations, or a related field.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint) with basic data analysis capabilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Chinese.
- Basic understanding of global economic trends and a demonstrated ability to learn quickly.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborative mindset with excellent interpersonal skills and a proactive attitude.
- Passion for the Forum’s mission and a keen interest in global, regional, and industry agendas.
