AMNC25 - Intern, Business Services and Central Support (Participant Service)
The World Economic Forum, committed to improving the state of the world, is the International Organization for Public-Private Cooperation. The Forum engages the foremost political, business and other leaders of society to shape global, regional and industry agendas.
You will work closely with respective teams at the World Economic Forum Beijing Office to support the preparations for the Annual Meeting of the New Champions (AMNC).

The Internship role is for candidates currently pursuing a college or university degree (undergraduate or postgraduate) and is usually undertaken during the penultimate year of study. While your major is not important, we are looking for candidates with an outstanding record of academic achievement, a can-do attitude and a desire to make an impact.

The intern will join the office for a three-month period during spring of 2025. You will work four to five days a week and receive a RMB 7500 monthly stipend if working on full- time.
Team Introduction
Business Event Services is at the forefront of cultivating impactful interactions, engagement, and streamlined processes to support our Business Partners. The team is a central hub designed to streamline and improve the Partner experience, ensuring every service we offer is optimized throughout the Partner engagement journey.
Our aim is to become the primary interface for the Business Partner across their event experience, through direct support, simplified access, and increased visibility on event engagement opportunities
By collaborating closely with key stakeholders including Global Programming, Global Communications, as well as Digital and Technology Groups, we empower Partners and colleagues through simplified engagement opportunities, enhanced experiences, and optimized processes.
Main Responsibilities
- Coordinating participant relations with engagement managers of the Forum, assisting in invitation and registration process for the Annual Meeting of the New Champions
- Producing event registration reports for data monitoring and analysis
- Providing operational and logistical support via various communication channels
- Communicating with and providing services for participants on demand online and onsite
- CRM system Data quality & cleaning; reporting support for inhouse use.
Preferred Requirements and Experience
- Currently pursuing or holding a bachelor's or master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Event Management, Public Relations, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant software.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, capable of handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to work independently and seek assistance when needed.
- Fluent in both written and spoken English and Chinese.
- High attention to detail, with a strong sense of responsibility and professional ethics.
- Team player, able to collaborate effectively with different departments and team members.
