AMNC - Financial and Monetary Systems

The World Economic Forum, committed to improving the state of the world, is the International Organization for Public-Private Cooperation.

The Forum engages the foremost political, business and other leaders of society to shape global, regional and industry agendas.

You will work closely with respective teams at the World Economic Forum Beijing Office to support the preparations for the Annual Meeting of the New Champions (AMNC), that is held in June 25-27 in the city of Dalian this year.

Internship Duration

1 April – mid of July; 4-5 days/week onsite at the Forum office in Beijing

Requirements

The Internship role is for candidates currently pursuing a college or university degree (undergraduate or postgraduate) and is usually undertaken during the penultimate year of study. While your major is not important, we are looking for candidates with an outstanding record of academic achievement, a can-do attitude and a desire to make an impact.

What to Expect

Throughout the internship, you will have the unique opportunity to:

  • Gain invaluable insights into a breadth of forward-thinking and innovative developments to the global challenges and agendas.
  • Gain hands-on experience by working alongside experts and getting involved in real work.
  • Build meaningful professional relationships and valuable career network

The intern will join the office for a three-month period during the spring of 2024. You will work four to five days a week and receive a RMB 7,500 monthly stipend if working on full- time.

Financial and Monetary Systems

Your responsibilities:

  • Assisting primary content research for sessions design, potentially 3 public sessions, 1 or 2 private sessions
  • Assisting constituents engagement and public engagements: platforms experts and constituents’ AMNC journey engagement (invitation, follow up, personal agenda, post event wrap ups and etc.); platforms public engagement coordination (agenda blogs , internal communication and coordination, and etc.)
  • Onsite session support: logistical support and coordination
