AMNC - China Central Support

The World Economic Forum, committed to improving the state of the world, is the International Organization for Public-Private Cooperation.

The Forum engages the foremost political, business and other leaders of society to shape global, regional and industry agendas.

You will work closely with respective teams at the World Economic Forum Beijing Office to support the preparations for the Annual Meeting of the New Champions (AMNC), that is held in June 25-27 in the city of Dalian this year.

Internship Duration

1 April – mid of July; 4-5 days/week onsite at the Forum office in Beijing

Requirements

The Internship role is for candidates currently pursuing a college or university degree (undergraduate or postgraduate) and is usually undertaken during the penultimate year of study. While your major is not important, we are looking for candidates with an outstanding record of academic achievement, a can-do attitude and a desire to make an impact.

The intern will join the office for a three-month period during the spring of 2024. You will work four to five days a week and receive a RMB 7,500 monthly stipend if working on full- time.

China Central Support

The China Central Support team is dedicated to providing the Forum’s constituents with the highest-quality promotional materials and the most complete communication resources and useful tools. The team is responsible for compiling promotional materials, developing communication plans for major events, providing content support for communication, mailing letters, processing event registrations, optimizing digital platforms, and delivering training and support on the use of key digital tools.

Your responsibilities:

1)Digital Success Support Intern

  • Providing day-to-day support to internal and external users on core digital platforms (mainly CRM and Event Management apps) of the Forum
  • Assisting with database maintenance and transformation, incorporating new processes & improvements
  • Sharing support issues, user feedback and ideas to improve digital products of the Forum
  • Implementing change management activities according to new development of digital products and evolution of business processes

2) Participant Services & Business Service Support Intern

  • Coordinating participant relations with engagement managers of the Forum, assisting in invitation and registration process for the Annual Meeting of the New Champions
  • Producing event registration reports for data monitoring and analysis
  • Providing operational and logistical support via various communication channels
  • Communicating with and providing services for participants on demand online and onsite
  • CRM system Data quality & cleaning
  • Reporting support for inhouse use

3) Visa Support Intern

  • Coordinate with Government official to issue the Visa letters to foreign participants
  • Issue visa letters from the Forum side to support foreign participants’ trip to China
  • Answer any incoming questions regarding Visa letters issued from Government officials and the Forum
  • Monitor visa letter issuing procedure to ensure the smooth operation
