Lead strategic communications for public policy initiatives.

You have:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
  • Three (3) years minimum prior related experience (5 years preferred)
  • Experience developing communications about public policy at the federal, state or community level
  • Experience in media relations, message and materials development, advertising, spokesperson training
  • Comprehensive understanding of the legislative process and the role of public policy
  • Comprehensive understanding of grassroots advocacy campaigns
  • Comprehensive writing, presentation, and training skills
  • Ability to work with youth and engage communities of color
  • Ability to travel up to 20% local and overnight stay
