Lead strategic communications for public policy initiatives.
You have:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
- Three (3) years minimum prior related experience (5 years preferred)
- Experience developing communications about public policy at the federal, state or community level
- Experience in media relations, message and materials development, advertising, spokesperson training
- Comprehensive understanding of the legislative process and the role of public policy
- Comprehensive understanding of grassroots advocacy campaigns
- Comprehensive writing, presentation, and training skills
- Ability to work with youth and engage communities of color
- Ability to travel up to 20% local and overnight stay
