UNDP Sudan is looking to better highlight and showcase its impact across various physical areas in Sudan, and types of work. To do this, UNDP Sudan is looking for advanced graphic design volunteer support, creating a 3D graphical map of Sudan with Adobe Photoshop, with layers for all states, that can be edited as necessary to show impact, results or challenges in different states as required. The end goal is a graphic visualisation of Sudan that can be adapted as required. The volunteer will work with UNDP Sudan's geospatial and mapping expert to produce a "base" map of Sudan (showing the states outlines) within Adobe Photoshop, and then 3 variations of the map where different results and figures are overlaid across different geographic areas.

  • Art and design
  • Development programme management

In Sudan, UNDP responds to developmental challenges created by a lack of basic services, a history of prolonged conflict and on-going sporadic violence, significant national debt and economic challenges. With increasing areas of work, we have an increased need to visually demonstrate the work we do in different areas and locations. The contributions of volunteers will directly support UNDP Sudan's work, and its staff, assisting the people and Government of Sudan through their transition.

  • Volunteers: 2 needed

  • 6-10 hours per week / 3 weeks

Volunteers must have strong experience with Adobe Photoshop and advanced graphic design skills; experience producing infographics and other content is strongly desired, as is data visualisation. A strong command of English is required.
