  • Comfortable working across cultures and geographies, with strong written and spoken English and additional language skills considered an advantage.

Role Summary

We are seeking an Adoption and Change Manager to join the Digital team at the Tony Blair Institute in a newly created role working across TBI to shape and lead the adoption of multiple digital systems and tools. Reporting to the Head of Digital Transformation and Performance, this role will play a central part in ensuring our digital investments deliver real value by enabling staff to confidently adopt new platforms, features, and ways of working. Acting as the bridge between technical delivery and end users, you will design and deliver targeted change, communication, and training initiatives that embed digital solutions into everyday work. You will work across digital teams and in partnership with functions such as Learning and Development and Internal Communications to create a joined up approach to adoption. You will set clear adoption goals and track performance to measure the success and impact of change initiatives, using insight to continuously refine delivery. Through innovative methodologies and tools, you will help build a digital first culture that enables our global teams to work more independently, efficiently, and effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and lead adoption approaches for new digital systems, features, and releases across the organisation.
  • Plan and deliver effective change, communication, and training activities that enable confident and sustained use of digital tools.
  • Lead coordination of adoption activity across digital teams and partner functions to ensure a consistent and joined up user experience.
  • Set and track adoption goals, using data and feedback to assess impact and refine approaches.
  • Build and support networks of stakeholders and champions to reinforce adoption and embed change.
  • Apply innovative methods and tools, including AI enabled approaches where appropriate, to improve engagement, learning, and adoption outcomes.

Experience and Key Skills

  • Strong background in leading adoption and change for digital systems within complex organisations, with a clear focus on user experience and behaviour change.
  • Capability to work closely with enterprise platforms such as Salesforce, Workday, or comparable systems, engaging confidently with technical teams and translating system change into practical user impact.
  • Proven ability to design and deliver effective change, communication, and training that enables sustained adoption rather than one off rollout activity.
  • Comfortable operating in fast paced, evolving environments, adapting approaches as priorities, timelines, and technologies change.
  • Confident stakeholder manager, able to influence across digital teams and corporate functions and bring alignment where ownership is distributed.
  • Data informed and outcome focused, with the ability to define adoption goals, assess impact, and continuously refine approaches based on insight.
  • Growth mindset with a strong appetite for learning, experimentation, and improvement, both personally and in how change is delivered.
  • Comfortable working across cultures and geographies, with strong written and spoken English and additional language skills considered an advantage.

Qualifications

  • Strong academic background (Bachelor or higher degree) in a relevant field such as business, organisational change or a related discipline.
  • Formal change management qualifications or certifications desirable.
