Overview

Assist in entering data into UN INFO system from an excel sheet.

You have:

  • Experience in working with online systems or websites.

  • Ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Good mastery of the English language.

The UNRCO in Lebanon is looking for volunteers to add information from an excel sheet into the UN INFO system. The volunteers would need to familiarize themselves with UN INFO by watching several walkthrough videos and will need to create sections and add text from the excel sheet (in the form of outputs and projects/programmes' information) into UN INFO. There are ~135 outputs and and ~490 projects to be added to UN INFO which will be split evenly among the volunteers. For the outputs, the volunteers will need to add the name of the output, choose from a drop-down list the respective outcome it falls under, and choose from a drop-down list the response plan it falls under. For the projects, the volunteers will need to link each project to the respective output & add the following: name of the project, geographical focus, timeline, UN agency/ies, implementing partners, contributing partners, response plan, & funding info(TBC). All this information will be found in the excel sheet.

    The UN Country Team in Lebanon will start using UN INFO system for the first time for planning and reporting purposes. UN INFO will allow the UNCT to become more transparent and accountable, outlining the priorities and results the UN commits to. The contribution of the volunteer will allow for the UN to utilize UN INFO as soon as possible and ensure data is inputted correctly.

  • 6-10 hours per week / 1 weeks
