Major Responsibilities

1. Coordination and Networking with all stakeholders on all ACL Infrastructure activities in Greater Tonj: Take lead in coordination of ACL infrastructure activities among different stakeholders like local authorities, RRC commission, executive chiefs and selected beneficiaries.

• All stakeholders are consulted, and their inputs integrated in the ACL Infrastructure implementation.
• Local authorities will be sensitized and new beneficiaries will be selected based on the set criteria of selection.
• ACL infrastructure activity implementation are well coordinated with Local Government authorities

2. ACL infrastructure implementation in Greater Tonj

Take lead in the infrastructure activities selection, appraisal & prioritizations in the greater Tonj

• Smooth implementation of ACL Infra structure activities

Take lead in the Implementation of viable ACL infrastructure projects in Greater Tonj.

• Tangible results of infrastructure constructed will be seen as a result of hard work.

3. Technical support and Monitoring of ACL Infrastructure activities

Take lead in the technical support and monitoring of all ACL Infrastructure activities in Greater Tonj

• ACL Infrastructure activities are well designed and executed as per agreed plans

4. Reporting and Documentation of all ACL Infrastructure activities

Documentation of all ACL Infrastructure activities and filed as per Donor and WVI Standards

• All ACL Infrastructure activities are well documented according the required Donor and WVI standard.

Prepare and submit timely and accurate ACL Infrastructure activity reports as per donor and WVI standard

• Weekly and monthly activities reports will be submitted on time as scheduled.

5. Capacity building of Field based staff

Capacity building/Training WVI Staff and the selected beneficiaries on constructed infrastructures.

Capacity and resilience of the beneficiaries will be built for community assets

6. Supervision of Field Based Staff Supervise all ACL Infrastructure Technicians within the Greater Tonj

Field staff are well guided as per Donor and WVI standard

Education background

• Prospective candidates should have a minimum of diploma or degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture.
• Must be a committed Christian, able to stand above denominational diversities
• This position requires a mature candidate, a self-starter, with dedication and ability to work with less or no supervision. Must demonstrate willingness to learn and work with others as a team.
• Candidates should also have at least 2 to 3 years of previous experience in a related field.
• Ability to perform field assignments and willingness to travel for long period of time in difficult terrain, harsh and demanding conditions. Candidates should also be willing to live and work in very difficult and security-risk areas
• Good command of oral and written English. Computer literacy is an added advantage.
• A mature Christian who shows a desire to serve humanity and to strengthen his/her relationship with the Lord
