Accounts Payable Specialist
This is a temporary fixed-term position until the end of August 2025.

To face business’ growth, the Accounts Payable team needs additional resources to maintain and guarantee its high level of service.
Reporting Lines & Interactions
The account payable specialist will be in a team of 8 people and report to the Accounting Lead.
As part of these functions, the candidate will be required to work with internal stakeholders such as the budget responsible as well as external third parties such as suppliers and banks.
Breakdown of main responsibilities
Management of Account payables
- Invoices checking
- Invoices approval follow-up
- Financial & Analytical codification
- Invoices recording
- Management due payables
- Prepare payment proposal
- Maintain a good working relationship with suppliers and internal stakeholders
Manage Travel & Expenses (Concur)
- Support staff members for Travel & Expenses
- Daily support on basic admin tasks
- Daily support on checking Travel & Expenses entries and manage booking
Contribute to prepare monthly/quarterly/yearly financials closings
- Relative balance sheet accounts reconciliation
The successful candidate will be assessed on
- Quality of booking (no. of errors, etc…)
- Volume managed (no. of invoices booked, email response, etc…)
- Relationship with stakeholders (internal and external feedback)
- Contribution to specific projects (proactivity, involvement, solution oriented, etc…)
Preferred Requirements and Experience
- Bachelor in Finance or Brevet Federal (even in progress)
- 5 to 10 years of experience in financial accounting
- Good knowledge in cost accounting and Swiss VAT
- Fluent spoken and written English and French is a must
- Excellent IT commands (MS Office, Financial Force, Concur)
- Strong organizational skills
