Provide technical support and training to CSOs for project implementation.
You have:
- At least 2 years’ experience in Organizational Development and MEAL area
- Previous experience in health program implementation and working with CSOs
- Bachelor’s degree in a health-related university or other graduate degree acceptable with more than 2 years’ experience
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel, fax and e-mail
- Knowledge of project cycle, and understanding of design, monitoring and evaluation
- Good knowledge of English and Computer aptitude
- Ability to train staff and non-staff in all aspects of M&E
- Excellent knowledge of local context and organizational culture
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of Humanitarian Industry Basics
- Ability to work as a team and respond promptly in a professional manner
- Regular travel to project locations is expected
- Good command of Myanmar and English

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide technical support and training for CSOs to ensure that activities are completed in accordance with the work plan and proposal
- Facilitate training sessions and workshops to strengthen CSO capacity in project implementation and reporting.
- Support CSOs in developing tools, guidelines, and frameworks for MEAL and health interventions.
- Provide technical assistance to CSOs in MEAL and health-related areas.
- Support CSOs in planning and implementing community-led health activities.
- Provide technical guidance to ensure quality and effectiveness of health interventions.
Conduct monitoring of field level activities and data management to ensure that activities are performed in accordance with the work plan and proposal
- Conduct regular monitoring and supervision visits to CSOs to ensure compliance with project standards.
- Follow up on Organizational Capacity Assessment (OCA) results and provide guidance for improvement.
- Ensure timely and accurate data collection, entry, analysis, and reporting.
- Travelling to targeted areas frequently for project needs.
Maintains good networking with the staff, consortium organizations, community and authorities
- Ensure working with team spirit among the team
- Monitor project intervention expenditures to ensure alignment with approved budgets and donor requirements.
- Collaborate with finance teams to review and validate the expenditures of the project interventions.
- Work closely with consortium members to harmonize technical support and monitoring efforts
Support the management with reporting problems and suggesting solutions
- Report all discrepancies to the Senior Health Specialist and National Office in a timely manner,
- Suggest possible courses of action to be taken to fix the problems
- Submit weekly and monthly reports to the Senior Health Specialist in a timely and accurate fashion.
- Carry out or engage tasks with good judgement and responsibly.
- Perform additional duties and assignments proactively.
- By actively participating with Supervisor in producing a relevant and jointly agreed development plan.
- The plan will identify key areas which will assist in personal and professional development consistent with World Vision’s strategic goals.
KNOWLEDGE/QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE ROLE
- At least 2 years’ experience in Organizational Development and MEAL area
- previous experience in health program implementation and working with CSOs.
- Bachelor’s degree in health-related university or other graduate degree with similar role for more than 2 years’ experience is also acceptable.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel, fax and e-mail
- Knowledge of project cycle, and understanding of design, monitoring and evaluation
- Good knowledge of English and Computer aptitude
- Computer literate and have high skills of information sourcing and gathering including internet
- Ability to train staffs and non-staffs in all aspects of M&E
- Excellent knowledge of local context and organizational culture
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Able to follow and enforce guidelines accurately
- Knowledge of Humanitarian Industry Basics
- Ability to work as a team and responds promptly in a professional manner
- Regular travel to project locations is expected.
- Good command of Myanmar and English
