La responsabilité générale de l’officier accès humanitaire est de soutenir l’Area Manager dans la mise en œuvre de la stratégie d'accès de NRC, qui vise à assurer une assistance humanitaire rapide, appropriée et efficace aux populations vulnérables, en s'assurant que NRC est présent dans les zones les plus touchées et avec le plus de besoin.
