L'objectif du poste de l’officier accès humanitaire est de soutenir l’Area Manager dans la mise en œuvre de la stratégie d'accès de NRC à travers des négociations d’accès humanitaire en appui des équipes terrain, qui vise à assurer une assistance humanitaire rapide, appropriée et efficace aux populations vulnérables, en s'assurant que NRC est présent dans les zones les plus touchées et avec le plus de besoins. Sous la supervision technique du Conseiller Accès, il travaillera en étroite collaboration avec les responsables des différents départements programmes et supports pour soutenir le développement d’une stratégie accès s’appuyant sur les réseaux de contacts locaux.
