Overview
Manage and improve data systems for decision-making and accountability.
You have:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience, preferably in IT, database management, information systems, statistics, MEL, geomatics, or related fields.
- At least 3 years of experience in data management, maintenance, or development, ideally in a humanitarian or development program.
- Proficiency in data management including collection, entry, cleaning, verification, validation, storage, and analysis.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions, pivot tables, and graphic production. Experience with SharePoint or other Microsoft data management and sharing tools is desirable.
- Experience with digital data collection tools such as ONA, CommCare, ODK, Kobo or similar platforms.
- Experience in producing dashboards, graphics, and other data visualization tools, notably with Power BI or a similar tool.
- Knowledge of SQL, MySQL, Azure, or other tools for managing and integrating different data sources is an asset.
- Experience with ArcGIS, QGIS or other GIS tools is desirable, especially for producing maps and analyzing geographic data.
- Ability to work with various teams and partners, providing technical support and assistance in using data management tools and systems.
- Fluency in French, both written and spoken. Knowledge of Swahili, Lingala, or other local languages is an asset. Knowledge of English is also an advantage.
