Overview
Manage risk communication and community engagement activities for Ebola response.
You have:
- BAC +3 or BAC+5 in social sciences, public/community health, nursing, rural development, community development or similar fields.
- At least 5 years of experience in community engagement and mobilization preferably with an NGO.
- At least 5 years of experience in international program management.
- Experience in social and behavioral change communication, community outreach, social marketing, or similar role in health sector.
- Demonstrated experience in identifying barriers to social and behavioral change and developing effective strategies to address them.
- Knowledge of community mobilization principles and approaches considering gender, age, disability.
- Master's degree in public health, communication, behavioral sciences, international development or related field is preferred.
- Effective oral and written communication skills in French required; proficiency in English is preferred.
- Experience in working with host governments, national and international NGOs.
- Ability to effectively manage and communicate with team members with varying work styles.
- Experience in safety-sensitive environments is preferred.
