The UNV is a custodian of Knowledge Portal on Volunteerism that contains global, regional and national data and evidence on volunteerism. As one of the features of it there is a volunteering database that contains up to date information on volunteering policies, structures and 2030 Agenda reporting. The online volunteers will be guided by the UNV colleagues on the template and further instructions.

The volunteers for the assignment will need to research with updating the dataset for Asia and the Pacific region on policies on volunteering. The task includes data mining, researching and reading through the policies in languages of the region.

Research and data mining skills. Familiarity with legal/policy environment in countries of Asia and the Pacific. Knowledge of local languages of the region will be an advantage.
