HR Technology and Analytics Branch (HRMOI) is responsible for the development and implementation of the HR Technology strategy and Roadmap that enables efficient and effective HR business processes and activities while ensuring compliance with HR Policies and legislative requirements.

Our technology strategy priorities are to create value for the Organization through provision of trusted workforce data and analytics for smarter people management decisions, reduced administrative burden for our employees through automation and self-services, and making life at work better through awesome employee experience.

WFP is seeking an experienced training coordinator for its HCM project. This person will schedule, manage and deliver training to WFP employees to accompany the implementation of Workday Human Capital Management.

ACCOUNTABILITIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

The HCM Project Training Coordinator will report directly to the WFP HCM Project Change Management Lead and will work in close coordination with the HCM Project Manager and Project Workstream Leads. 1. Help implement the training strategy for WFP's Workday HCM implementation by meeting the specific requirements of trainee/learning groups in terms of courses, materials, facilities and support. 2. Help prepare the training plan for the first phase of the HCM rollout. 3. Prepare and/or assemble training materials and courses, either building on existing Workday HCM courses and materials, or creating ad hoc courses and materials, as necessary. Materials may include e-learning and content for a digital adoption platform. 4. Schedule and deliver training and end-user support sessions, remotely and in person, as circumstances require. 5. Other related tasks, as required.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Education: University degree in Education, Business Administration, Human Resources or related field of study.

Experience: Minimum 5 years of professional experience in business coordination, of which at least 3 should have been devoted to training coordination. Experience with HR and cloud-based systems would be desirable.

Knowledge & Skills: Knowledge of HR Business processes. Knowledge of Workday HCM is desirable. Proven experience in preparing, managing and delivering training for IT implementation projects, ideally in UN or governmental bodies. Proven experience training business stakeholders in Workday HCM core functionalities desirable. Excellent and demonstrated communication skills. Excellent and demonstrated capability to work collaboratively within a team.

Languages: Fluency in oral and written English with an intermediate knowledge of another official UN language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian and Spanish) or Portuguese (one of WFP’s working languages).
