HR Technology and Analytics Branch (HRMOI) is responsible for the development and implementation of the HR Technology strategy and Roadmap that enables efficient and effective HR business processes and activities while ensuring compliance with HR Policies and legislative requirements.

Our technology strategy priorities are to create value for the Organization through provision of trusted workforce data and analytics for smarter people management decisions, reduced administrative burden for our employees through automation and self-services, and making life at work better through awesome employee experience.

WFP has started the implementation of Workday Human Capital Management and is currently looking for a dynamic Test Lead to join the project team. The prefect candidate would have ideally a proven experience in Workday implementation in a similar position and a good understanding of HR business processes to be able to work efficiently with our technical and business stakeholders.

ACCOUNTABILITIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: The Test Lead will report directly to the HCM Project Manager. 1. Design the testing strategy in collaboration with the various project leads 2. Develop test plans/procedures for process and Unit testing, end to end integration testing, regression testing and user acceptance testing of Workday 3. Work with Functional leads, Technical leads, Business SMEs to identify and capture test cases 4. Set up of test environments, design test plans, develop test cases/scenarios/usage cases, and executing these cases. 5. Recommend strategies for Automated testing 6. Providing daily coordination and support of all testing related activities. 7. Generating and reviewing all test documentation. 8. Evaluate test results, schedules, resources, and technological risks for program reviews. 9. Manage the testing processes and ensure practices are followed or implemented and deliver and continuously improve the overall effectiveness of testing activities 10. Develop/control procedures and checklists to ensure that all areas of the testing processes are well defined and functioning 11. Monitor and transition testing activities to the Business after the go live 12. Publish test execution, defect summary and daily/weekly status report to all the stakeholders 13. Monitor and report weekly on progress and key testing metrics 14. Manage defect tracking and ensure that defects are properly recorded and reported 15. Escalade potential issues or concern to the PMO 16. Other tasks as required.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Education: University’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Human Resources. Project Management Certification is a plus Graduation on Workday Education is a plus

Experience: Minimum 8 years of professional experience in IT or Human Resources Minimum 3 years of professional experience as Test Lead Minimum 2 full life-cycle implementation experience of Workday (or another HCM platform)

Knowledge & Skills: Good knowledge of HR Business processes Good knowledge of Workday HCM Knowledge of SAP HR is a plus Proven experience in developing testing strategy, tests cases and running plans Ability to translate technical content into comprehensive content by business stakeholders Proven experience working on international and multicultural context Excellent and demonstrated communication skills (written and oral).

Languages: Fluency in oral and written English with an intermediate knowledge of another official UN language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian and Spanish) or Portuguese (one of WFP’s working languages).
