You have:

  • Fluency in French (both written and spoken) is essential for teaching.

We are looking for volunteers to conduct online French classes to support children and adult learners in Ireland. Volunteers best suited for this opportunity should be proficient in French and UK English Language. Our beneficiaries are secondary school and college students learning French. We need dedicated online volunteers who are willing to make a commitment to teaching at least 2 classes per week via Skype or google classroom for 26 weeks. The duration of each class is about an hour. Classes will be held between 5 to 7 PM Irish time. Volunteers are expected to have a good internet connection.

We work to support, provide services, develop programs, empower, and advocate for women, youths, and children especially those living in hardship, the disadvantaged, victims, and survivors of abuse, hard-to-reach, and those with fewer opportunities. One of the LCP's main objectives is to support the education of children and adult learners by providing tutoring to help learners reach their achievable potential.

    Candidates should have previous experience working with Secondary school students and adult learners. They must be fluent in French (both written and spoken) and have experience in teaching children/students. A degree in Education or related field is considered an asset.
