Support the IOM Regional Office’s Ukraine Support Hub in Vienna, Austria with the development of media and communications materials

Now entering its second year, the Ukraine crisis needs continued support from the UN to meet growing needs. IOM’s Regional Office in Vienna recently set up a Ukraine Support Hub in order to backstop the work of the IOM mission in Ukraine. With access to the country becoming more and more difficult, the Organization is mobilizing human resources in the region to directly support our colleagues in the mission.

This project is an important part of that by directly contributing to enhancing strategic communications to bring more global attention to IOM’s work.

The online volunteers will support the Senior Communications Officer with the creation of strategic communications products for the IOM Ukraine Mission. They will help create visuals and package content to accompany key messaging for external audiences. They will also assist with developing visuals for a Mission Strategic Communications plan.

Visuals will include generating graphics (charts, graphs, infographics), InDesign templates and PowerPoint templates. Ideally the online volunteers will also edit photos if needed.

• Strong writing skills in English.
• Experience in editing and proofreading media content.
• Experience in creating visuals using InDesign, Keynote, or other relevant software.
• Strong working knowledge of Powerpoint and Adobe Photoshop.
• Video editing skills a plus but not required.
