The new Youth Co:lab's report "Climate Concern to Climate Action: The Role of Young Social Entrepreneurs" was launched in November. Viet Nam was one of the countries featuring in the report with almost 100 survey respondents. Given the strong engagement from young social entrepreneurs in Viet Nam on climate action, a brief country snapshot was generated, highlighting the views of young social entrepreneurs on climate change and its impact, how they are engaged in providing climate solutions and the challenges they face in advancing climate action for framing future programmatic priorities for the UNDP in Viet Nam.

We are looking for 1 Online Volunteer who under the guidance of the Youth Impact Entrepreneurship Officer and in close collaboration with the communications team support us by designing the Viet Nam country snapshot (a 9-page short report) in a good way, and enhance the visualization of the country snapshot. In particular, the Online Volunteer is asked to:

  • Collect information on document/material background such as target audience, design style, branding guidelines etc.
  • Create draft design based on requirements and discuss with focal point/ communications team;
  • Develop the design according to agreed requirements.

The design/layout should follow our corporate design guidelines which will be shared with the Online Volunteer in advance.

The Online Volunteer will have the opportunity to build connections with the Youth Co:lab team at UNDP and learn about the ways in which graphic design can support to better visualize the views of young social entrepreneurs in Viet Nam on climate change and its impact, how they are engaged in providing climate solutions and the challenges they face in advancing climate actions.

Candidates should have professional experience in graphic design with previous experience in designing document layouts, and must have in-depth knowledge of graphic design applications, as well as good verbal and written communication skills. A degree in graphic design or related field is considered an asset.
