The incumbent will interact directly with Permanent Delegations of Member States and external clients on matters relating to their invoices. S/he also provides advice and guidance to UNESCO colleagues. S/he will communicate directly financial information that commits the Organization. Long Description ---------------- Specifically, the incumbent is responsible for the Accounts Receivable cycle related to: - Incoming payments review and posting for Member States’ assessed contributions to the Regular Budget, the World Heritage Fund and Intangible Heritage Fund and the related monthly reports, - Revenue generating activities: office rent, parking, telephone, conference/events, etc. and for the related monthly reports on arrears, - Re-invoicing of other services, - Proper accounting of revenue from Voluntary contributions and Medical benefits, undertaking follow-up on unidentified funds, - Maintaining records and preparing new coupons under the UNESCO coupons program, - Active participation in the process streamlining and projects related to the above-mentioned activities.
