To provide an overview of existing research/literature in the focus areas

UNDP is looking for an online volunteer researcher to support the development of our Strategic Intelligence Hub (SIH) for Youth Entrepreneurship Ecosystem in Asia-Pacific, currently being piloted. The SIH serves as a node for regional development partners to organise thought leadership and build a community of practice consisting of regional policy and programmatic leaders at the regional, national and sub-national levels. One of the aims of the hub in its pilot phase is to curate insightful and meaningful discussions around emerging policy themes in this space which would allow fostering a collaborative effort for youth entrepreneurship growth by the policy stakeholders, particularly showcasing lived experience of South-South co-operation. In this regard, government representatives and partners have been invited to express interest in curating policy discussions with key audiences and target stakeholders at national or regional levels. UNDP and partners are also drafting policy action brief and thematic research note(s) which will inform the focus of the SIH. We are now looking for an online volunteer researcher with a focus on Climate Concern to Climate Action and Green Jobs.

The candidate is expected to have previous experience in development issues, especially in climate and employment. The candidate should also have previous experience in research, with excellent data consolidation and strong writing and editing skills. A good understanding of UNDP's expertise and focus areas is a great plus.
