Contract

This is a UNV contract. More about UNV contracts.

Last year, thanks to our volunteers and online volunteers, we released a report assessing how Europe was doing in reducing single use plastics. We want to update this report and release it in July. Last year report, can be found here: https://rethinkplasticalliance.eu/wp-content/uploads/2021/06/SUP-Assessment-Design-final.pdf

All the names of the contributors, including from the UN platform, were cited at the beginning of the report.

In order to update our understanding of the situation in Estonia and draft a report, we are looking for the following information to be compiled in a word document:

  1. Link to the national law(s) that was/were adopted following the adoption of the EU directive on single use plastics or if no national law was adopted;
  2. short paragraph on where the discussion stands/ answer to the following question: were there any new developments between June 2021 and now (June 2022),
  3. Links to articles in national media on single use plastics in Estonia released between June 2021 and June 2022 included. Language of the briefing document to be drafted: English. Deadline: the sooner the better

We are looking for Estonia-speaking candidates interested in doing research on measures against single use plastics in Estonia and report them back to us in a short briefing document in English.
