You have:

At least 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in humanitarian assistance or disaster response.
Proven experience in managing multi-sectoral projects, including Protection, WASH, MPCA, and NFI.
Strong leadership skills with a track record of building and managing high-performing teams.
Bachelor's degree in any discipline is essential.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is highly desirable.
In-depth knowledge of international humanitarian standards and protocols.
Excellent communication and writing skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), email, and internet.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

The Project Manager will lead the Myanmar Earthquake Response project, ensuring effective and timely delivery of humanitarian assistance to affected populations in Mandalay.
The role involves coordinating with local partners, managing project activities across multiple sectors (Protection, WASH, MPCA, NFI), and ensuring alignment with strategic goals and donor requirements.
Effective and efficient project execution, meeting all deadlines and targets
Strong collaboration and partnership, ensuring local capacity building
High-quality reporting and adaptive management based on M&E findings
Financial accountability and optimal resource utilization
Adherence to all guidelines and standards
Minimized project risks and enhanced safety and security

KNOWLEDGE/QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE ROLE

At least 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in humanitarian assistance or disaster response.
Proven experience in managing multi-sectoral projects, including Protection, WASH, MPCA, and NFI.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in complex and sensitive environments.
Strong leadership skills with a track record of building and managing high-performing teams.
Experience in coordinating with multiple stakeholders, including local partners, government agencies, and donors
Bachelor's degree in any discipline is essential
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is highly desirable.
In-depth knowledge of international humanitarian standards and protocols.
Strong skills in scenario planning, strategy development, and project documentation.
Excellent communication and writing skills.
