NORCAP is a part of the Norwegian Refugee Council. We were founded in 1991 and since then we have provided expertise to approximately 10,000 missions. ​

  1. Role and responsibilities

The purpose of the position is to provide essential grant and project management support to the AU programme team in delivering quality programmes in line with the NORCAP strategy and NRC standards.

The following is a brief description of the role.

  1. Adherence to NRC policies, guidance and procedures and consideration of NRC and NORCAP strategies when executing functions related to this role
  2. Support project implementation in accordance with NRC standards for project cycle management
  3. Participate in programme design and proposal discussions, including theory of change development, log frame design and budgeting for M&E
  4. Document, analyse, and share learning from proposal and reporting process, and compliance with donor rules and regulations
  5. Contribute to continuously improving internal grant management systems
  6. Provide operational and admin support to the programme team
  7. Support external donor audits
  8. Represent with relevant partners and donors as delegated

Specific responsibilities

  1. Contribute to the development and revision of funding proposals, budgets and donor reports
  2. Develop and maintain overview of all grants, donor requirements, rules and regulations, and internal and external deadlines, including filing of grant documents
  3. Coordinate the development of donor applications and reports, as well as ensuring donor compliance and quality control
  4. Support development of a donor strategy for the AU Programme including the mapping of potential donors and development of concept notes.
  5. Data collection and reporting on activities, progress and results of the AU programme.
