The Country Strategic Plan focuses on four strategic outcomes to support the Government of Bolivia achieve the Sustainable Development Goals 2 and 17: Strategic Outcome 1: Communities affected by a shock are able to meet their basic food and nutrition requirements in times of crisis. Strategic Outcome 2: Vulnerable groups at risk of malnutrition in all its forms have im-proved nutritional status by 2022. Strategic Outcome 3: Food insecure farmers in prioritized areas have resilient and diversi-fied livelihoods by 2022. Strategic Outcome 4: National and sub national institutions have strengthened capacity to manage food security policies and programmes by 2022.

Under the direct supervision of the head of Monitoring & Evaluation, the UN Youth Volunteer will undertake the following tasks: - Support the M&E and VAM Unit in research and context analysis. - Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis of secondary and primary information. - Systematize and process data. - Support the implementation of monitoring modules for the activities of the Bolivian WFP. - Support in the design of M&E instruments, tools and reports. - Assist in monitoring the activities of assistance to households in Food Insecurity man-aged by the WFP and / or executed with the Government of Bolivia at its different na-tional, departmental and municipal levels. - Participate in field trips to support the monitoring and evaluation of projects. - Support vulnerability and food needs assessments in accordance with the guidelines provided by the Country Office. - Carry out other related tasks as required. Results/Expected Outputs • Project documents and budget revisions comply with WFP´s implementation strategy and in accordance with WFP´s policies and guidelines; • Documents reflect strategic organization and specific country objectives and strategies; • Demonstrated effective coordination with other units, which leads to adequately deliv-ery of required resources; • A final report of achievements during the assignment with lessons learnt and recom-mendations for the country office.

Adaptability and Flexibility Commitment and Motivation Commitment to Continuous Learning Creativity Ethics and Values Integrity Respect for Diversity Working in Teams

and/or demonstrated interest (up to two years) in Monitoring & Evaluation or food security or development assistance or other related areas; Previous experience with the U.N. system, with a cooperation agency in the field of humanitarian/development assistance or with the government of a developing country will be considered an advantage. Experience/knowledge in gender issues will be valued; Previous experience as a volunteer and/or experience of another culture, (i.e. studies, volunteer work, internship) would be highly regarded;

As Bolivia in gen-eral, La Paz offers a multicultural and vibrant environment.
