Plan and implement compliance activities for humanitarian programs.

You have:

  • 3 - 5 Years of experience in food assistance / food programs, and development related fields.
  • BA or BSC in Rural Development, Development Studies, Agricultural Economics, Economics, Accounting, Management and related social fields of studies.
  • Strong knowledge and working understanding on Emergency Food resource management.
  • Experience and knowledge of WFP funded emergency food assistance projects, WFP-TSFP, Red Cross code of Conduct, SPHERE Standard and HAP standard.
  • Comprehensive experience WFP funded food program interventions (knowledge of WFP & WV commodity management policy) is mandatory.
  • Technical knowledge & skill advantageous particularly on LMMS, CCTS, JAM, CTP, environmental compliance, emergency safety & security.
  • Good understanding of humanitarian standards.
  • Good knowledge of local context.
  • INGO experience.
  • Ability to work in high tension and high security risk situations.
  • Ability to work in and contribute to team building environment.

Major Responsibility

  • Plan and implement compliance activities to ensure program accountability is ensured, requirements are met and result are delivered as per humanitarian principles, standards and procedures.
  • Support in improving monitoring systems, revise tools and mechanisms to establish quality commodity management in terms of warehousing, documentation, overall commodity flow and food transfer.
  • Plan and conduct field visit to verify evidences and close open findings reported through regular live food distribution observations, end use check, and post distribution monitoring.
  • Lead compliance works in cooperation with food resource management, food monitoring, and field offices.
  • Review and discuss findings observed by food monitoring team and prepare a follow up matrix sheet for follow up to close findings in timely manner.
  • Active representation in any risk monitoring meetings and compliance sessions like technical working group.
  • Build and develop the capacity of the field staff in commodity management and implementation standards to ensure compliance is sustainably and effectively maintained

Required Professional Experience

  • 3 - 5 Years of experience in food assistance / food programs, and development related fields.

Required Education, training, license, registration, and certification

  • BA or BSC in Rural Development, Development Studies, Agricultural Economics, Economics, Accounting, Management and related social fields of studies.

Preferred Knowledge and Qualifications
