Contract

This is a UNV contract. More about UNV contracts.

UNV Field Unit in Kazakhstan is working to expand and further diversify its talent pool of highly motivated and skilled individuals willing to serve as UN Volunteers in support of UN humanitarian, peace, and development efforts.

For this purpose, we are seeking online volunteers to help us build a database of active professional networks, NGOs (CSOs) and employment platforms (which are free to use for vacancy advertisements) in 5 Central Asian countries (Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan).

This database will facilitate talent outreach efforts to attract candidates from diverse professional backgrounds to serve as UN Volunteers in support of the various UN Agencies, Funds, and Programmes, in their countries and around the world.

We seek support from 1 online volunteer to explore active professional networks in Tajikistan.

To make it clear, we will provide you with the Google Form to be filled out by the organizations themselves. In case the access to Google Form is not available, you will be able to gather data into a shared excel file instead.

Candidates should have previous experience in research and identifying active CSOs (NGOs), professional networks.

Knowledge of organizations and regional settings.

Previous UN or CSO experience preferred.

Comfortable using technology, social media and other platforms.

Be able to evaluate websites for credibility.

Analyze and evaluate information to determine its usefulness and accuracy.
