Org. Setting and Reporting UNRWA offers an opportunity for a new graduate to work as an intern and learn in areas of CRM, Salesforce, Data Management & Market Research within External Relation Department. External Relation Department is seeking for an intern based in Amman who can perform quality research to improve donor intelligence and analysis of market potential. The intern will also support the team in their daily work.

Selected Intern will work under the direct supervision of the Private Partnership Head s as well as the Digital Engagement Coordinator and get all necessary training to perform the following:

Responsibilities - Dealing with data - a Salesforce based CRM platform, segmenting into groups. Donor segmenting, creating dashboards and reports. - Performing basic Salesforce administrative duties (Data entry, managing/updating databases). - Support UNRWA's Salesforce database including object and field creation, form edits, page layouts and design. - Other duties as might assigned

Competencies - Positive attitude and strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills. - Proven ability to exercise the initiative and resourcefulness necessary for simultaneously pursuing multiple tasks and achieving positive outcomes. - Sound appreciation of regional context as well as genuine commitment to advocacy for the humanitarian positions that underpin UNRWA's mission. - Ability to maintain effective working relationships with people of diverse backgrounds, culture, and nationalities.

Education Preference will be given to recent graduates or students in their senior year of graduate school, with major area of study in computer science, analytics, statistics, information management, public administration, management, engineering, or related field.

Work Experience No working experience is required to apply for the United Nations Internship Programme. Your training, education, advance course work or skills should benefit the United Nations during your internship.

Knowledge of Microsoft excel tools including Pivot tables (Required)

Knowledge of webpage HTML coding (Required)

Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Required)

Experience in a professional office environment is an asset (Desirable)

Knowledge of Python is an advantage (Desirable)

Languages Students should demonstrate excellent language, research and writing skills in English & Arabic

Special Notice Conditions of the Internship:

  • The duration of the internship is 6 months with an expected start date of as soon as possible.
  • The intern will be based in Amman
  • Candidates must be able to work full-time
  • The Agency does not cover travel costs and the position is non-compensatory.

Interns are not financially remunerated by UNRWA. Costs and arrangements for travel, visas, accommodation and living expenses are the responsibility of interns or their sponsoring institutions.
