Job Overview/Summary

The IT department provides and supports end-to-end technology solutions to meet the organization business needs, including aspects of application development, integration management, enterprise architecture, user experience design, quality assurance & testing, and overall product management.

Focused initially on optimizing financial and supply chain systems through system and process design, the Director, Enterprise System Optimization will work collaboratively with key stakeholders to identify and explore solutions to optimize processes, system behaviors, and gaps in functionality, starting specifically with the IRC’s ERP system. Working in partnership with the Director, ERP Systems, finance, global supply chain departments and other IT groups, the Director, Enterprise System Optimization will drive specific initiatives to improve scope and usability of enterprise system functionality. Initially the role will be responsible for investigating and presenting potential solutions to key ERP and FP&A processes including Expense Management, payment processing, and operating budget management. The role will need to secure leadership support for recommendations and then partner closely with the Director, ERP Systems and the BSA team to execute on the solutions.

Major Responsibilities

· Develop optimization strategy and roadmap for enterprise systems: Partner with business stakeholders and technical leads for enterprise systems to build roadmap/prioritization of areas for optimization and enhancement.

· Investigate and provide recommendations to improve ERP system: Understand business drivers and business capabilities (current and future state) as well as ERP System Design currently in place and make recommendations to improve functionality and usability.

· Provide subject matter expertise and leading edge-thinking: Stay on top of enterprise system trends, methodologies, tools, and techniques that will be useful to ERP program activities and the IRC organization as a whole.

· Assess and develop optimization opportunities for enterprise system integrations and ERP related custom applications: Assess existing integrations with ERP and develop plans for optimization of integrations or recommendations for new system integrations to enhance user experience.

- Participate in cross-systems enterprise coordination and planning: to deliver best systems value to the IRC community, including architecture, master data management, processes, and integration - Partner with technical teams to ensure system upgrades

Requirements Skills

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent - 8+ years of experience implementing and supporting business systems including specifications, process modeling, implementation, delivery architecture, configuration, training, integration, operations, and support - 4+ years of experience managing, configuring and supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations or Microsoft Dynamics AX - 6+ other core financial and logistics systems functions (GL, AP, AR, budgeting, T&E, procurement, P2P, WMS, CPM) in enterprise systems such as Infor, Aggresso, Serenic, Epicor, Sage, Oracle, SAP - 2+ years of experience with external standards compliance (SSAE, PCI) and auditing - Financial and supply chain subject matter expertise as it relates to information systems - Experience providing administration and support for enterprise-level systems with substantial numbers of users across global time zones and varying IT infrastructure - 2+ years of experience with Agile and Waterfall Project Management methodologies in different team roles - Ability to communicate effectively in both verbal (i.e. day-to-day discussions, team meetings) and written (requirements and design specifications) form, as well as an overall ability to be clear and concise in all communications - Good listening skills - Strong analytic curiosity and innovative problem-solving skills using a systems thinking approach. - Proven ability to work both independently and in a dynamic, cross-functional team structure. - Proven ability to establish and maintain working relationships across all departments and levels of the organization

Preferred Skills

- Experience with Business Intelligence tools and methods such as data warehouses, visualization tools, architectures and relational database systems (e.g.: PowerBI) - Experience with enterprise data modeling - Experience with enterprise-level system integrations

Working Environment

- Full remote working will be considered - Some international travel as needed
