This is a temporary need for 11.5 months to support retention project and data processing works from April 2021 to Mid March 2022 to complete 2021 workplan.

Being responsible to support retention projects including retention campaign implementation, performance report producing, and relevant documents preparation. The consultant will also support data processing works including pledge data operation and preparation works.

How can you make a difference?

Full time work in UNICEF’s office in Beijing on working days to support retention campaign / projects the contractor is eligible for 1.5 days of paid leave per month in addition to UN holidays. Details please find from following major task/deliverables and timeframe.

Retention project cooperation

Support to implement retention projects like house campaign (contents, tests, details operation and performance producing etc.) also need to communicate with counterparties like Comms and vendors. Skills needed:

1.1 System operational skill: daily work on multiple platforms (WeChat, Smart eDM, SMS system etc.)

1.2 Project monitoring and escalation

1.3 Proper communication skill

1.4 Campaign / project process design

1.5 Time management and risk management

1.6 Others related skills accordingly

Support Data processing works

Help to proceed data preparation works including data filtering, import, export and deduction preparation works.

2.1 data check and import / export between local system and DPO

2.2 Campaign data import into DPO

2.3 Prepare related sending reports.

2.4 Assist in WeChat data handling process

General administration:

Provide administrative support to the unit as requested, such as typing, translation, filing, faxing, photocopying, etc.

To qualify as an advocate for every child you will have…

  • Minimum Academic Qualifications required and disciplines:
  • A bachelor’s degree from a college or university, or other comparable education.
  • Knowledge/Experience/Expertise/Skills required:
  • Native Mandarin Chinese skills, reading and writing. Good command of spoken English and working knowledge of written English.
  • Experience in using Microsoft Office applications.
  • Project management / assistance experience.
  • Loyalty or retention campaign experience.
  • Attention to detail and an analytical mind.
  • Good initiative, ability to conceptualize and come up with improvement suggestions.
  • Good organizational skills
  • Ability to work in teams and independently.

Consultants and individual contractors are responsible for determining their tax liabilities and for the payment of any taxes and/or duties, in accordance with local or other applicable laws.
